About sjap

They call me Sjap, my real name is Jean Paul. I work as a ground engineer within a Dutch MRO, which serves 737 and 787 models for all types of checks. The idea to share and exchange maintenance experience has come up when several same problems and questions during maintenance came up again and again. Also many colleagues with many years of maintenance experience are walking around, but there’s no medium where they can store or share that experience.  It’s very difficult to maintain an official experience exchange program within a company, since official rules, laws and documents are always there to follow.

So that’s why i made this website, just to share the tips, tricks and handy stuff, which is normally  not wanted or desirable to have with you at work. Remember, EVERY tip, document, picture or program on this website is for use at your own risk. You know you must always work according to official manuals, and therefore all information from this website is not official, for information only and uncontrolled.

I hope you will exchange your maintenance experience with me, to share it with all other 737 & 787 technicians around the world.

Greetings,
