Removing Leading Edge Slat Actuator 737-6/7/8/900

AMM ref: 27-81-41/401
When you remove LE Slat actuator (in my case- #1 and #8) and obey AMM instructions, at  the moment when you disconnect rod from the slat and manually move slat to the full extend position, AMM says you to disconnect hydraulic lines from the actuator. But it’s very difficult to remove aft mount bolt of the actuator and disconnect some hydr. lines. My tip: when you move slat manually to full extend position, next step MOVE SLATS TO FULL RETRACT POSITION with hydraulic system. It gives you easier access to the aft mount of the actuator and hydraulic lines and swivels. You have to do this operation with control of assistant, who will support the actuator under the slat, otherwise damage of the slat can occur. Also, holes for the swivels give you possibility put ratch with extension and head to the aft bolt. Just remove the swivels, and it will be easier to remove slat actuator bolt.
