Following Slat replacement Slat will not rig 737-6/7/8/900

Applicable Reference:
AIPC 27-81-21-03
Discrepancy:
Following Slat replacement Slat will not rig
Possible Fix:
Move main tracks to correct position (On Slat).
Tip:
Verify the track part number postion installation(inboard/outboard) prior to Slat installation. Push the Slat up and down after you get it hung to verify it moves without binding to fully retracted postion. Never attempt to retract Slats full up with hydraulics, following a slat replacement until you verify you have the Main Tracks installed in the correct positon.
Reason/Explanation:
The Slats are interchangable from right wing to left based on their position on the wing (1-8, 2-7,3-6, 4-5). But the IPC tells you that the different Slat track part numbers go by inboard and outboard, on that slat. So you can get a effective slat from stock and it comes with the tracks installed. So it is a crap shoot on if it has the tracks installed correctly for the position you are installing it.
